Our progress is ongoing. We have ambitious goals to reduce absolute emissions and our use of restricted Annex B chemicals by 2030 and 2035. Starting at the concept phase, every product is designed to minimize resources, harmful emissions, and waste. We consider the amount of embodied carbon when selecting each material used in our products. In support of a circular economy, we also design products for easy recyclability and disassembly after use. To help close the loop, we ship all products with instructions for recycling and end-of-life. ![Solar panels](https://ais-inc.com/uploads/images/transforms/_800xAUTO_fit_center-center_90_none/134939/ais-solar-panel-close-up_lg.webp) ### Facilities & Operations Our facility hosts a rooftop solar field that generates clean power back to the grid. We also test for air leaks and use a building management system to reduce energy use. We review evolving industry restrictions on a regular basis and reassess the chemicals we use to align with the latest standards. By choosing materials that have been certified by third-party organizations, we can offer choices that customers trust. We’ve also partnered with a take-back program to re-purpose used products. One of the most powerful ways to divert waste from the landfill is to design products in a way that makes it easy for them to be reused or recycled after use. When products are still in working condition, we can also extend their useful life through turnkey partnerships.
